Abstract

Summary

Theoretical and experimental marine research was conducted to estimate the possibilities and features for sources and receivers of electric and magnetic types (ungrounded loops and galvanic lines) used for the study of the shelf geological environment structure. For the theoretical estimation of the resolution of these electromagnetic systems geoelectric characteristics of the White and Black sea shelves were considered. Experimental studies were conducted in the waters of lake Onega and the Black sea.
