Summary

The methods of extraction and enhanced oil recovery of viscous oil from the sub-gas rims of the Cenomanian horizon (PC layers) are studied. It is shown that steam (water condensate) leads to swelling and dispersion of the clay components of the rock. Hot mineralized water is not sufficiently effective for displacing the oil of PC formations, i.e. thermal methods are not recommended. Oil affects the rock formations of PC, its permeability, wettability and the degree of oil displacement by mineralized water. At oil saturation of more than ∼ 75%, inversion of rock wettability from hydrophilic to hydrophobicity occurs. Alkaline flooding and nonionic surfactants are not effective for enhanced PC oil recovery. The depletion of oil reserves forced to pay attention to the hard-to-recover reserves (HRR) of viscous oil of subgas gas rims of PC (Cenomanian horizon), containing about 2.7 billion tons of oil. Oil production from oil and gas fields (PC formations) is complicated by the viscosity of reservoir oil, the bottom structure of the deposits. The purpose of this work is to carry out physical modeling of oil production from such complex objects (for example, Tazovsky, Russky, Vanyegansky, West and East Messoyakhsky oil and gas fields).
