Abstract

Summary

The problem of the propagation of signals under conditions of wave dispersion with a power-law attenuation is considered. It is shown that the spatiotemporal description of the transient waves, in this case, leads to a hereditary telegraph equation, the solution of which determines the monotonic continuous dependence of the delay of the observed prefrontal region of the signal on the exponent of the power-law decay law and estimates of this effect is obtained.
