Abstract

Summary

Solving the problems of reservoir geochemistry requires a large complex of geochemical works. Core and sludge (bituminous and molecular analyses) are studied to assess the prospects of oil and gas deposits and use in basin modeling. These studies are combined with geochemical studies of surface oils and gas condensates, including physical and chemical analysis, molecular analysis of the individual composition of gasoline fractions, n-paraffin, isoprenoid, aromatic hydrocarbons and polycyclic biomarkers.
