Abstract

Summary

Carbonated water flooding has several mechanisms. Interfacial tension reduction is one of the important mechanisms of carbonated water flooding which increases the capillary number. the main topic of this paper is to measure the IFT of carbonated water and oil in reservoir. In this study, the IFT of carbonated water and oil at different temperature and pressure is measured by the pendant drop method. The results showed that increasing temperature and pressure decreased the IFT
