Abstract

Summary

The crucial aim of the present studies is to show the significant role of the mathematical modeling of leaching and application of the magnetic methods for the identification of the heterogeneities of the agronomic indicators of soils. The studies were performed at the territory of the monitoring fields of NSC “Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry Research named after O.N. Sokolovsky”. The area is the Forest-Steppe at the Kharkiv region. The predominant soils are typical chernozemz and podzolic chernozemz (in Sokolovskiy classification). The main parameter to find the correlation with soil physical parameters was magnetic susceptibility MS (χ). The section A is characterized by low values of potential soil losses. At the same time for the section B, the potential washout significantly exceeds the rate of the natural soil formation. The results showed no relationship between MS and macronutrient content (ρ = 0.05...0.27). The relationship between MS and Sorg content is much higher (ρ = 0.45... 0.57). The relation between Sorg and mineral nitrogen content is medium.
