Abstract

Summary

The paper discusses the case study of seismic attribute analysis application to assess the fracture system distribution in carbonate reservoirs. To verify the reliability of the fracture distribution obtained core analysis data and production data were used and tracer survey was conducted. An attribute configuration representing the distribution of fractures was determined. Since in carbonate reservoir considered the fracture system represents the main carrier of water flow, the results obtained were used to optimize the location of the water injector wells.
