Abstract

Summary

A multidisciplinary study conducted as practical training for students is presented. It combines detailed lithofacial profiling and 2D mapping of the surface outcrop. In addition to the classical geological methods that were represented, the possibilities of different geophysical methods (2D electrical resistivity, seismic, seismology (H/V spectral ratio), gravimetry, magnetometry, georadar, and aero photogrammetry) were also demonstrated in the study. Based on the conducted geophysical and geological measurements main sedimentary sequences were delineated and an attempt was made to track them spatially within the studied area.
