Abstract
The reserch presents the results of a study by the method of induced polarization EMS-IP in order to identify ore objects. Relevance of the work is to determine the polarization characteristics of the rock for subsequent typing. To search for ore objects, a comprehensive assessment of phenomenological modeling was used - stationary polarizability, relaxation time, and exponent. The object of the research was the «Kanshoky» porphyry copper deposit in the Republic of Kazakhstan. In addition to areal surveys, measurements were made at the site by micro-installations of search ditches, which are line-to-line installations with a small step of the receiving line (1 m) and a small distance of the supply dipole from the receiving line (no more than 50 m). Also measurement was made IP characteristics of samples taken from the data channel. The research links have been established laboratory measurements and micro-installations measurements. As used approach study yielded data for geological and geophysical interpretation areal surveys carried out on the same technology.
