Abstract

Summary

Development of approaches to seismic data interpretation is necessary to improve the efficiency of the offshore geohazards evaluation. The paper discusses an approach to joint analysis of seismic reflection data acquired in multiple frequency ranges and using different surveying techniques: 3D standard seismic survey, 2D high-, very-high and ultra-high-resolution (2D HR, VHR, UHR) and 3D very-high-resolution (3D VHR) seismic surveys. The joint analysis of the seismic datasets focuses on the near-surface characterization and detection of geological hazards in the Arctic shelf.
