Abstract

Summary

The presented work describes a new technology for detecting gas and water breakthrough in long horizontal wells during field development in the Caspian Sea. This technology made it possible to determine the intervals of gas breakthrough using a mini-chromatograph directly in the field and did not require processing in a specialized chemical laboratory.
