Abstract

Summary

The OhmPi project aims to develop an open-source, open-hardware resistivity meter, dedicated to the research community and not-for-profit organisations. OhmPi was initiated to enable more flexibility with regards to conventional equipment, for investigating more easily novel acquisition strategies or designing complex monitoring experiments. Here, we describe the latest developments of OhmPi and we focus on the performance of the instrument in the field. We review the specification of the development version OhmPi v2024, and we present dedicated applications including a case study detailing the field deployment of a small-scale 3D panel for monitoring water infiltration at the Rochefort Cave Observatory (Belgium).
