We enhance a site investigation for karst geohazards by using 3D ERT surveying to produce a site-wide, high-resolution 3D model. The site is located on limestone that is prone to erosion at the bedrock surface, and possible karst features such as sinkholes. The 3D survey builds upon pre-existing geophysical surveying completed at the site at much sparser resolution. We integrate intrusive borehole results with this model and develop empirical criteria to establish that areas of lower resistivity within the bedrock zone of the model may be associated with either sediment infill in the surface of the eroded limestone, or potential dissolution features. We use this information to produce a volumetric risk map which can inform the future location and design of planned structures at the site.
