Abstract

Summary

In this study, an ensemble algorithm is proposed to determine the optimal threshold that segments favourable formation categories of fault-controlled karst reservoir from bed rock. This algorithm combines Otsu’s segmentation of spatial seismic data and Gaussian mixture model (GMM) clustering of drilling signal corresponded seismic data. The detailed algorithm is introduced, and characterized formation based on this algorithm is displayed.
