Abstract

Summary

The method for evaluating the deformation characteristics of the soil of the foundation of shore fortification with reinforced concrete slabs is proposed, especially the resistance of the soil to landslides, subsidence, erosion, etc. This assessment makes it possible to predict the stability of reinforced concrete hydrotechnical structures, in particular the slabs of the channel slopes. The object of the studies is reinforced concrete fastening slabs of the slopes of the artificially created channel of the Ustya River within Rivne City. The hardness of the foundation in field conditions was recognized with the help of the Revyakin hardness tester. The hardness tester is equipped with a mechanical recording device that allows you to simultaneously record the value of the spring compression and the displacement of the rod. The study of the deformations of the base of the bank slope confirms the compliance of the data with the tolerances of normative documents. The protrusion of individual slabs of the slope is explained by the action of buoyancy forces on the basis of the attachment of the developed root system of trees located along the slope.
