Abstract

Summary

Purpose of the work. Analysis of engineering and geodynamic conditions for construction of buildings and structures after landslide prevention measures implementation in the Black Sea coastal zone of Odesa. Methodology. Visual inspection of condition of the buildings and structures; calculation of the general and local stability of landslide slopes in certain areas of coastal zone; instrumental measurements of rocks deep-seated deformation in the landslide slope of the Maly Adzhalyk Liman right bank. Results and Discussion. It has been established that, in addition to errors in engineering and geological surveys, design, construction and operation causing deformation in individual buildings built in the landslide zone, another important factor is underestimation of engineering and geodynamic features of the rock masses of landslide slopes. Are discussed the impact of manifestations of differentiated microblocks movement and slow translational displacement of rocks of the main deformable horizon on the buildings and structures. Conclusions. Optimal engineering solutions related to the design and construction of structures for various purposes within the coast should be developed not only taking into consideration the requirements of regulatory documents to ensure the regulatory stability coefficient corresponding to the degree of the structure stability, but also taking into account engineering and geodynamic conditions.
