Abstract

Summary

The article analyses the changes in the normalised difference vegetation index (NDVI) and water index (NWI) according to Landsat 8/9 satellite data (for 15 October 2022, 27 January, 5 May 2023) to determine the area of winter crops in 2023. The comparison with 2011 (dates of 24 April and 30 August 2011) is made. It was revealed that the area under winter crops in 2023 decreased by 7 times.
