Abstract
The RomUkrSeis is the second WARR (wide-angle reflection and refraction) profile crossing the Eastern Carpathians and Ukrainian segment of Carpathian Forland Basin that was preceded by the PANCAKE profile crossing the NW part of the Ukrainian Carpathians. The finite-difference reflection/refraction migration was developed at the Institute of Geophysics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine to process of WARR profile seismic data recorded at a distance of several hundred kilometers from the source. The results of the WARR data processing with the finite-difference reflection/refraction migration for the upper crust (30 km) along the RomUkrSeis profile with the interpretation are present. The result of the migration of seismic data on the RomUkrSeis profile, which passes through the Teisseyre-Tornquist Zone and Eastern Carpathians from the Apuseni Mountains and the Transylvanian Basin to the Ukrainian Shield (a SW part of the East European Craton (EEC) shows new details on basin architecture and upper crystalline crust structure for the area of accretion of Paleozoic Platform and Tisza-Dacia microplate to the Precambrian EEC during the Phanerozoic.
