Abstract
In the practice of mining and construction works, there are numerous cases of violation of buildings and structures from industrial explosions. Violations in buildings of residential and cultural purposes are manifested primarily in the fall of chimneys and peeling of plaster. Violations such as shedding of whitewash are generally very frequent. In residential areas of cities, it is necessary to take into account the psychological impact of fluctuations on the population, especially in conditions of frequently repeated explosions. The current Unified Safety Rules for Explosive Operations cannot take into account the whole variety of conditions encountered in practice. Even with specially conducted studies to identify changes in the parameters of vibrations propagating from the explosion site to the area of residential areas, as their results show, it is necessary to know the composition of the soil in the foundations of structures. Distances from blocks to measurements (school no. 40): block no. 36–1350 m; block No. 48–1600 m; block No. 50–1950 m; block No. 54–2250 m; block No. 51–2500 m.
