oa Ore-Bearing of the Weathering Crust and of the Paleogene Continental Deposits of the Eastern Area (Avramivske Deposit) within the Eastern Part of the Novomyrhorod Gabbro-Anorthosite Massif

A target database has been created that includes the coordinates, description and results of testing wells that revealed Paleogene continental deposits and the weathering crust of crystalline basement rocks within the Eastern area (Avramivske eluvial deposit of titanium ores) of the southern part of the Korsun-Novomyrhorod pluton (the eastern part of the Novomyrhorod massif). On the basis of this database were constructed: maps of the relief of the bottom and of the top surface of the weathering crust, breccia-like rocks with redeposited kaolins and sands of Paleogene (Middle Eocene); maps of the thickness of these deposits; maps of the lateral distribution of the average content of ilmenite, zircon, rutile in weathered crust and Paleogene rocks. The obtained cartographic constructions demonstrate the structural and lithological parameters of ore bearing of different genesis, different age and different facies petrotypes within the Eastern area.
