Abstract
Based on the conducted hydrological, geological, and hydrogeological analysis, modern hydrographic characteristics of the Tsyr River were formed. The analysis of the data showed that on the slopes of the Tsyr River valley, the processes of waterlogging and flooding of the river floodplain, as well as karst formation and sand blowing of aeolian ridges and dunes are developed. Almost everywhere, the slopes of the valley are slightly dissected, mostly open, plowed, and in some places wooded. Sandy or loamy soils predominate, and sandy or clay-sandy soils are less common.
It has been established that the processes of waterlogging and flooding of the river floodplain are developed within the Tsyr River basin. Soil degradation is manifested in the form of wind erosion and karst formation.
