Abstract

Summary

Areas with similar geological, geomorphological, and hydrological parameters that are essential for landslide formation are identified by hydrogeological zoning. Aquifers that are lithologically made of clays are more vulnerable to the development and intensification of landslide processes in the Chernivtsi region than aquifers composed mostly of limestone, sandstone, marl, siltstone, or a combination of clays with sand, sandstone, and limestone.
