oa Anthropogenic Transformations of the Left-Bank Floodplain Relief of the Dnipro River within the Darnytsia District of Kyiv and the Ecological Significance of Relief and Landscapes of Floodplain Water Bodies for Protection of Nature

The results of the study of physical-geographical, geological-geomorphological, and hydrogeological conditions of formation and functioning of the water bodies of the left-bank floodplain of the Dnipro River in Darnytsia district of Kyiv were presented. Using the methods of large-scale landscape-geomorphological mapping and geoinformation modelling, the influence of anthropogenic factors on the creation, reconfiguration, and functioning of floodplain lakes was assessed. The classification of water bodies in the Darnytsia district of Kyiv is substantiated by the ratio of natural and anthropogenic factors of their origin and genesis. The importance of relief and landscapes of the Dnipro floodplain lakes protection for the conservation of biodiversity is justified.
