Abstract

Summary

The article reveals the relevance of extraction of construction raw materials in Ukraine in the context of growing construction needs and taking into account the integrated development of deposits with maximum use of overburden as a construction material.

The main attention is drawn on the study of fluvioglacial deposits, which emphasize the geological and economic significance of this type of deposits. The objects of study are deposits of crushed stone or building stone as the main mineral and overburden rocks of fluvioglacial genesis as associated minerals. The study is illustrated with examples of specific deposits such as Sosnivske, Yaroshivske and Bohuslavske. The conclusions highlight the necessity to consider the features of fluvio-glacial deposits in the geological and economic assessment of deposits and to determine the areas of employment of fluvio-glacial deposits. The authors pay attention to the fact that for more efficient development of this type of deposits, the integrated development of these deposits should be considered and new parameters of conditions that will improve the efficiency of field development should be established.
