Abstract

Summary

As PETRONAS sets out “MFT 50:30:0” vision with net zero carbon emission in their sustainability aspiration, a depleting carbonate reservoir located approximately 135 nautical mile north-west of Miri town had been identified to fuel the need to reduce carbon emission. The reservoir is selected as part of the pioneer CCS project to store the CO2 produced from neighbouring gas field.

This paper endeavour to explain a suite of survey parameter that not only complies to stringent technical and commercial requirements but also able to meet PETRONAS aspiration of net zero carbon emission.
