The results of the analysis, based on the parameters of events and some features of seismicity that have occurred in the Shkoder-Peje seismogenic zone during period of time 2001–2023, are presented in this paper. This seismogenic zone presents a significant seismic hazard to those living in northeastern Albania, southern Kosovo* and Montenegro. In total, 1187earthquakes are registered during overmentioned period in this zone, and one with M L =4.5 (Richter) occurred on 27 October 1986. The goal of this study is to determine tipology of seismicity, the source parameters of the earthquakes in order to shed light on the seismotectonics of the area and to evaluate the seismic hazard. The region affected by the February 2, 1662 M6.0 (Peje, Kosovo*), July 3, 1855 M6.3 (Barbullush, Shkoder) and June 1, 1905 M6.6 (Beltoj, Shkoder) forms a roughly NE-S-trending active seismotectonic zone in north Albania and continues through southern Kosovo*.
