The present work investigates the local and spatial distribution of the ionospheric response as a result of the annular solar eclipse that occurred on 14 October 2023. Total Electron Content (TEC) data were used in the analysis and filtered using the relative deviation of the quantity. The results of the analysis of the behavior of the ionosphere show the following: a) a decrease in the relative TEC (negative response) is observed in the considered time interval; b) the maximum negative reaction (-0.4) is obtained for the points through which the eclipse is maximum in the hours between 16:30UT - 17:00UT; c) as the eclipse maximum moves equatorward, the delay increases.
