Development and survival of the modern world depends on energy and its sources. Natural resources are elements of nature which are essential for human beings. Natural resources can be: raw (minerals and biomass) environmental media (air, water, and land), flow resources (wind, geothermal energy, tidal energy, and solar energy), and spatial resources (land). Energy consumption is a daily occurrence. In connection with this, questions arise: which source of energy is used and how? Energy, or the management of natural resources, is a very complex topic that we will not address in this paper. Energy sources are divided into non-renewable and renewable energy sources. Non-renewable sources are the primary means of obtaining energy. An important question is whether this should remain the case or if something needs to change. In this paper, we will address this issue. We will compare non-renewable and renewable energy sources and draw conclusions.
