Abstract
Summary
Detailed seismic interpretation and facies analysis of the Cycle IV (Tortonian) carbonate banks in Southern Luconia, offshore Sarawak, Malaysia, has delineated several undrilled carbonate bank segments. The identification of seismic amplitude anomalies within the carbonate banks and integration with depositional environment interpretation and trap characterisation has led to a significant upgrade to the remaining exploration potential of this mature area.
