Abstract
Summary
This study introduces a Plane-Wave Elastic Full-Waveform Inversion (PEFWI) algorithm that utilizes distributed acoustic sensing (DAS) data for seismic imaging. The PEFWI method directly converts strain data measured by DAS into particle velocity, facilitating the application of this data in waveform inversion processes that require particle velocity and stress components. Our research verifies the ability of the PEFWI algorithm to accurately generate both P-wave and S-wave velocity, even in scenarios with added noise (SNR=1). The algorithm was tested using synthetic data generated from a modified Marmousi2 model, and the numerical examples highlight its robustness in dealing with complex subsurface structures.
