Abstract

Summary

Developing a robust ground model to characterise a site can only be achieved through coordinating and exploiting the full potential of the 3G’s, namely

Geological knowledge to inform the overall ground model, particularly covering formative processes.

Geophysical data to integrate with geological knowledge.

Geotechnical data to inform ground conditions at targeted locations and to integrate with geophysical data and geological knowledge.
