Abstract

Summary

Traditional methods of mapping sands and fairways can benefit from an independent QI analysis, even when there is limited well control to guide the geologic and geophysical interpretations. This represents a case where the pre-drill QI analysis and seismic AVO classification predictions of a hard sand of 15% average was confirmed post-drill.
