Abstract

Summary

This paper describes the role of 3D seismic data coupled with two shallow hazard surveys (2016 & 2020, both analogue and digital) in understanding the shallow subsurface geology for a Carbonate exploration well in the South China Sea offshore Sarawak, Borneo, Malaysia, drilled in 2022. The area of investigation is about 20 square kilometres and the average water depth is 118m.
