Abstract

Summary

Field G, located in Middle East is a giant carbonate reservoir and to date more than 120 wells had been drilled. Well integrity is one of the utmost priorities in delivering these wells. Hence, this paper includes the study and comparison of cement bond logging data across various logging tools from different contractors. It also discusses on the best practices and lesson learned from case studies which includes the improvement on the logging procedures and cementing operation. The cementing data analysis from 120 wells will not only aid industries in the cement evaluation but will also serve as an avenue to give new perspective in logging and cementing operation. Furthermore, the lessons learned, and best practices will help the industries in selecting appropriate logging tools and cementing procedures for their fields in the future.
