Abstract

Summary

This paper presents the application of real-time chemostratigraphy in southern Gulf of Mexico in resolving key drilling challenges from operations geology point of view. The applications include identifying lithology for more accurate pore pressure estimation, quick sedimentary provenance determination and log interpretation.
