Abstract

Summary

The application of an iterated PP-RP workflow effectively overcomes the limitations posed by compromised well log quality in the A-1 well, located in the carbonate field A of the Central Luconia Province. By integrating data from adjacent wells for calibration, the study showcases the capacity to produce reliable elastic logs, pivotal for enhancing reservoir characterisation efforts. The marked improvements in well-to-seismic ties underscore the validity and effectiveness of the modelled logs in updating QI products. This approach not only rectifies the immediate data quality issues but also sets a precedent for handling similar challenges in reservoir studies. The study underscores the critical role of modelled elastic logs in improving seismic inversion and porosity estimation, leading to a deeper understanding of the reservoir
