Abstract

Summary

The reservoir distribution has long been recognized as a significant factor governing the resources and reservoir performance. Comprehensive subsurface data review was conducted integrating regional understanding, well data and seismic inversion to better characterize the sand distribution. The findings of this study enable us to document the evidence and establish a conceptual model of the depositional environment, map areas with a high probability of sand presence, and further de-risk future development well drilling.
