Abstract

Summary

This paper focuses on improving complex fault imaging through the combination of sparse circular shooting and narrow-azimuth (NAZ) acquisition geometry with the application of diffraction imaging technology in deepwater area, offshore Malaysia. The data was acquired in an area with elongated outboard belt extending Southwest-to-Northeast and is primarily located within water depths ranging from 80 to 250 meters. In 2000, a NAZ data was acquired, and series of data reprocessing has been taken place.
