This paper is to demonstrate the integration of seismic derivative volumes Extended Elastic Impedance (EEI) and Amplitude versus Offset (AVO) strength with subsurface core and wireline log data to enhance reservoir rock quality characterization. Sparse shear sonic data in the field led to limited shear velocity data for 1D rock physics analysis. The analysis focuses on multiple seismic attributes observations and comparing empirical relationship between seismic data and petrophysical properties in X-25 reservoir, the major reservoir within the Group-I interval in the Field T. Recent field study suggests the delta facies is under-developed with significant remaining oil opportunities especially in the East Fault Block (EFB) due to commingling with other reservoirs. The objective of the analysis is to utilize seismic derivative volumes to characterize different quality of laminated sand in delta facies in the Central (CFB) and East Fault Block (EFB) where the remaining opportunities are located. An integration of EEI volume and AVO strength was used in this analysis to better identify location and well placement for potential infill target in the laminated delta facies sand.
