Behind casing Opportunities Revelation in Mature Reservoir: A Study of Reservoir Connectivity Within Deltaic Sand Bodies

This paper aims to uncover additional opportunities in a mature reservoir through enhanced understanding of reservoir connectivity taking into consideration the intervening low permeability zone that has effectively form low production baffles within the deltaic sand bodies. The updated understanding of the reservoir configuration has resulted in better prediction of overall production performance as well as better explanation of observed production anomalies, ultimately leading to the identification of more behind casing opportunities in mature reservoirs.
