Abstract

Summary

The rapid expansion of geoscientific and multi-disciplinary datasets in the energy sector warrants innovative solutions for data connectivity, discovery, multi-domain integration, and analysis. The Open Subsurface Data Universe (OSDU) is a commonly used data standardization platform to optimize data storage and accessibility across energy operations. Yet, the vast scale and inherent complexity of subsurface data ( ) remain significant barriers for enterprises and researchers alike, necessitating advanced frameworks for intelligent data discovery and global basin analytics.

To address these challenges, we introduce a scalable and high performance data fabric system that transforms multi-modal geoscientific data as a semantic hypergraph model, a queryable graph-based representation. This system supports intelligent data discovery, contextual analysis, and basin-wide insights by integrating data from OSDU repositories and third-party sources.
