In this paper, we will focus on the impact of seismic survey technology and design on the 4D signal detectability. The case study is pre-salt lacustrine carbonate reservoir. It is highly heterogeneous with a complex 3D network of high permeability pathways of karsts and faults/fracture corridors. 4D seismic is used to monitor water and gas streaks in the reservoir model coming from the WAG injectors. The management of gas front propagation toward the producers is key. An early gas breakthrough can lead to a high impact of oil recovery by generating a gas preferential pathway. The objective of this 4D seismic signal feasibility is to determine the most appropriate seismic acquisition among the operational surveys type: streamer, Ocean Bottom Nodes and Permanent Reservoir Monitoring.
