Abstract

Summary

In the second half of the previous century more than 14000 VES measurements were conducted in the Netherlands. Not only the models but also the field data is stored. We describe the characteristics of this unique dataset. Using modern software, we used these measurements for creating better models automatically. In addition to that, comparison with recent airborne geophysics shows the opportunities for doing advanced time-lapse and spatial joint inversions.
