Abstract

Summary

In this study, we successfully applied laser desorption/ionization mass spectrometry (LDI-MS) to analyze organic matter in source rocks. The development of this application enables high-resolution stratigraphy of organic matter in geological samples, thereby providing a new means for the rapid and high-resolution analysis of organic matter in source rocks and offering richer geochemical information for geological research.
