Abstract

Summary

Analyses of reservoir fluids was conducted on reservoir fluids from pre-salt reservoirs with variable GOR. Multiple lines of evidence from geochemical analyses in both gas and liquid fractions suggest that high maturity and secondary cracking of oil contribute to the proportion of gas observed in the studied samples, despite the fact that present-day reservoirs are at low temperatures.
