Abstract

Summary

The report is devoted to the actual topic of determining the levels of transport vibration acting on the shopping and entertainment center (SEC) during its construction and operation. Since the SEC is built on a pile foundation directly above the metro station, it is exposed to two types of transport vibrations: from the subway trains movement and land transport movement with intensive traffic during “peak” times. Based on the results of experimental monitoring studies, it was found that when checking the structures bearing capacity of the Heroiv Dnipra metro station and SEC, the dynamic vertical and horizontal loads must be taken into account with a coefficient of 1.2 from the static loads. When assessing the SEC structures bearing capacity and their seismic resistance, a design 6-points seismicity should be taken in accordance with the current building regulations of Ukraine considering the increased moisture of the base soils.
