Abstract

Summary

The publication presents the obtained results and outlines the nearest promising directions of research of the nature reserve fund (NRF) of Ukraine at different territorial levels by means of geoinformation mapping. It was determined that multifunctional interactive maps and atlases of two types (specialized, complex geo-ecological) can provide the necessary knowledge about the natural reserve fund of Ukraine, depending on the requirements of potential users. The created database of territories and objects of the nature reserve fund of Ukraine in the Poltava region based on verified information (covers 100%, now it is 384 units), became a frame solution for distribution to other territories and use during geoinformation mapping, in particular, for the creation of a specialized atlas NRF of Ukraine.

The main research tasks of the near future are substantiated: bringing the databases of objects and territories of the nature reserve fund of Ukraine into full compliance in accordance with the principles of developing the basic data set of NRF as a constituent element of the national infrastructure of geospatial data, as well as creating a comprehensive geo-ecological atlas of NRF of Ukraine on this basis.
