Abstract
The problems of environmental nature are closely linked to the rate of economic development of regions - as a rule, the availability of harmful production, on the one hand, causes negative impact on the environment, quality of life of the population, and, on the other hand, contributes to the growth of economic indicators, budget revenues, for various purposes. The task of optimization arises in the presence of additional, often controversial conditions - how by allocating funds on decreasing environmental risks, to achieve the improvement in the environmental performance of the region while increasing economic indicators.
On the basis of statistical data on the environmental state of the region, the level of negative impacts from harmful manufacturing technologies and economic indicators of the enterprises of the region, it is crucial to uncover relationships between these indicators, model their dynamics and determine the parameters of corresponding models in order to obtain optimal in terms of the above metivned factors of indicators for functioning systems “level of production - environmental risks – funds on their overcoming”.
Methods of mathematical modeling based on the apparatus of ordinary differential equations in nonlinear formulation can be used, the basic model is the model “predator - victim”.
