Abstract

Summary

The paper discusses the negative impact of oil product components on the environment, in particular on aquatic ecosystems. Oil products entering surface waters change water properties and inhibit the vital activity of aquatic organisms. As part of the study, samples were taken from surface water bodies and the territory of the long-term storage facility for fuels and lubricants. The results of laboratory physicochemical analysis of the collected water samples are presented. Differences in water quality indicators in water bodies located directly near fuel storage facilities and water bodies located at a greater distance from the facilities were identified.
