Abstract
Summary
The article investigates the geo-ecological state of the Rata River basin system (Ukraine–Poland) by assessing the degree of anthropogenic land transformation. Modern geoinformation technologies such as ArcGIS, QGIS, Python, and satellite imagery were used. The analysis includes the calculation of various coefficients (agricultural development, ecological stability of landscapes, anthropogenic load, etc.). It was found that the Zheldets and Moshchanka river basins have experienced the highest anthropogenic impact, while the Bolotnia River basin is the least transformed. To optimize the condition of land resources, measures for environmental monitoring and protection have been proposed.
